With their resources tied up in raw performance Samsung and Qualcomm might have to pull back a little to focus on 5g. I'm guessing Huawei is taking a bet on a future tech and decided to put less resource into power.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018Nokia is also helping in the development of 5G technology.Well that just helps my argument. Thank you
Huaweis communication sector is coming handy. They will deffo be no1 in the 5g race.
Samsung and Apple can just sit and watch
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018So next year's P20 successor won't have then? No, that releases earlier in the year.
The tech will be ready mid year.
So next year's P20 successor won't have then?
Walter C. Dornez, 29 Jun 2018Man, Samsung needs to catch up, otherwise it's gonna end up like Nokia.Nokia is also helping in the development of 5G technology.

Won't be too long before it eventually climbs to Number One if Samsung and Apple don't do anything but simply state the tech isn't ready yet. Like we get, it adds to the cost, then we find cheaper flagships with it, then wonder the hell are we paying 1k for?
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018Hmm, isn't that late? I've heard Finland already has a commercial 5G network? The one in Finland is a collaboration between Elisa and Huawei. They did a test in Helsinki. The only city with 5G network in Finland was Tampere with Turku also in mind. That is only just finished setting up the 5G network facility. The service itself wont be offer until early 2019. Regional regulation havent authorized anything for the carrier. But yesterday there is news from Elisa that they had launched 5G network in Tampere and Estonian capital Tallinn. The world first 5G video call was made between Finish minister and Estonian minister. The 5G terminal is supplied by Huawei of course. Kudos Huawei.
