Aside from a bigger battery, it doesn't really offer anything significant to Note8 owners. I would advise against upgrading, unless you have a older device...

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018For the Note I don't think they need to really go to an all screen device. Such a big screen, ... moreI have an S7 it does not lag. Never. And it's two years old. Your imaginary view on what Samsung software does needs an update. Stop listening to internet trolls and go try one out instead.
The bigger the phone is the more useful a bezel-free design is, simply to keep the size as manageable as possible. That's one argument that actually speaks for Samsung should reverse the priorities from the S series this year.

The apple ones are a different story and you can't compare any other brands to those types

Samsung has made their phones very expensive. It would be fine, if you use if for say six years, but Samsung are unlikely to support with software updates and the batteries are non-removable.

My phone has a lots of knocks and bumps due to day to day usage. it is a tool. Sometimes, it falls on the floor. So I can't justify buying a phone, that is delicate as glass. I don't want to stress if my phone falls to the floor.

Plus, with phones being so expensive, it makes you a walking target for phone thieves.... If they have finger print sensors, pins etc... so why do they get stolen?

Samsung's finally learning a bit or listening a bit since their pockets aren't so full of money anymore and are becoming humble like they once were in regards to the pre-note4 era.

Time is the best medication for self-reflection and in this case has proven true yet again.

So all in all it looks like it is finally a good time to get the Note9 & put the Note4 away as backup but I'm still wishing for a bloat-free user experience along with a IR blaster and dedicated microsd with dual-sim slot supported device.

Zenodroid, 29 Jun 2018Samsung and Apple still have the loyal sheeps. No matter how badly the brand gets, the sheeps ... moreApple yes (their sheep) but not Samsung's Flagship albeit its some what too expensive.

If you compare specs on both phones and build quality, style, components then a reasonably intelligent person is going to know that Samsung creates a good product.
If you look at Apple I cant say the same thing because based on historical facts its simply isn't true.

Kiyasuriin, 29 Jun 2018You can clear quite a lot of bloatware from samsung fyi in SE8.0 onwardsI know. But after clearing the 90+ bloatware, the phone loses most of the features and functionality.
