Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018If you're taking thousands of selfies per day, then you don't need a camera, you need a life.....This person is a compulsive historian who strongly feels the need to record breath by breath of his / her life. Nervous breakdown person, in my 2cents opinion.
Specs won't save you unless Oppo optimize it's software which is less likely.

We know how much the smartphones cost to make, we just dont know what’s happening with the other hundreds of dollars.

I'm not trying to be mean, I myself am not a fan of rising prices, but there is a lot to consider when phones are sent to a different countries, like import costs.
Dont expect something new in hardware. All new phones try to make larger screen in thin body with big battery life and upgraded AI . Thats what matter on a phone today. In other words unlock fast, open an app fast, sustain a good performance (no freeze), easy to connect to other devices and last 1 day. I'm charging my phone 2 times per day with 4 hours usage.

Yep, pretty much the same phone
Does anyone realize that as phones come out this year, they get more and more expensive while keeping the same specs as phones that came out in the beginning of the year?

( not sure if anyone would make or could make one that would allow for the sliding.. ) due to the sliding.. so if you were to drop it even gently or a fall from a sofa.. might screw the moving part.. .. most cases now a days work well even for all glass phone's.. I mean what you gonna do remove the case every time you need to take a photo.. nice design.. not really practical though and lacks many basic features.. for the trade of no notch.. I hate the notch....
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018Who would carry dedicated cameras around for selfies? If you're taking thousands of selfies per day, then you don't need a camera, you need a life.....
Too expensive, hope Oppo would extend the warranty to atleast 18 months for hardware and also cleaning the internals as dust would accumulate on that motor within a month's usage.
Why spend 1000$ on an 845chip when that chip is old news, same with the upcoming note 9, it's the same internals as phones released earlier this year
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2018Till the time they get a dedicated camera.....If your taking thousands of photos a day with a smartphone camera, I'm sorry but that person needs to get a real camera and maybe do something else besides posting to Instagram all day, pathetic losers
Jamesschwarz987, 29 Jun 2018Then try to fall it once. Mechanism error maybe don't, but DURABILITY is.Then in that case any fragile phone will break if it fall once. Lol.
