I'm glad that MS is able to come to a licensing agreement instead of trying to outright ban devices. This way, everyone is happy. MS gets paid, Samsung gets to sell the devices and consumers get to buy them.

Nice one, MS! Now that you have Samsung and HTC paying for every Android device sold, it's time to make Motorola pay. Imagine Motorola, or should I say Google since they bought Moto, pay for every Android device sold. Now that would be great! In the end, Android won't be free anymore since these OEMs needs to pay MS some cash for every Android handset sold.

MS should drop the WP7 license fee and undercut Android FTW. The MS masterplan is working as planned.

Go MS, GO! Kill Android!

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2011I might be a bit dense here, but why are samsung and htc paying royalties to microsoft for usi... moreAndroid uses much of Microsoft patents, they know it, but, instead of Apple, Microsoft only charges a little fee, Apple instead like to ban EVERYTHING. And not just HTC or Samsung, also SE, LG, Huawei the list is endless :P

AnonD-4697, 28 Sep 2011MegaLOL At the end.... Everyone pays loyalties to Microsoft.....I know but most poeple don't know that. that one of my main reason why a hate apple so much. They take technologie of others make it there own by a flaw patent systeme and trying to kill competition by ban.

This is where Tizen comes in. Work on Tizen and you don't have to worry about paying Microsoft. Also the name may be changing to Tizen Takeover
