I'm aware of this feature about a month ago, when I saw don't enter sign in google maps.
when I went to that road, yes it's closed (there's a road work, making underground tunnel)
How can they possibly know there's a road work? (spying on us from the satellite perhaps?)

Because road need to have 'status' too. Next, Google Maps Story will be integrated. Then Google Maps Live video. Google Maps Chat should be there too in the far future. Just kidding. Waze is good. Google is good. Nothing to see here. Lets update Android Auto.
