Fitbri, 04 Jul 2018It's cruel what their doing to this company nor posturing and publicity scores. I understand s... moreIt isn't over the top, its fair.
ZTE needs USA innovation, much more than the USA needs ZTE's products.
Perhaps ZTE (who have billions of dollars, thousands of workers, and many months of planning-time) should've done their homework about international commerce.
On top of this, they should've paid the initial fine for breaking USA Policy, sacked the managers responsible, and implemented the changes that they were advised.
They failed this, and even on top gave bonuses to those same managers and continued to supply Iran and North Korea.
I mean those are big stuff ups. And they did it THREE times. They don't have the luxury of a "second-chance". I feel like they understand now, but its too little too late. Sometimes you gotta burn the garden to let the forrest flourish.
I honestly don't understand why there is so much sympathy for ZTE here... First of all, actual cell phone devices are not that big of a revenue stream for them, especially in the US. They build cell phone network infrastructure and used US tech to build networks in North Korea and Iran, countries on which US imposed a trade embargo. And this was not even the first time they got caught. I like my Axon 7, but they broke the law repeatedly and knew the consequences after breaking it the first time. I can't say I feel sorry for them.
Lenovo/Motorola is a Chinese company, so Motorola must be banned from doing business in USA!
It's cruel what their doing to this company nor posturing and publicity scores. I understand some wrongdoing but it seems over the top punishment in what seems to be an ever increasing hostile, and uncertain area to do business these days.
You know that ZTE is one of the top 5 brands in the US? It's only the government that's hostile towards them
ZTE is to be stringently allowed ONLY a month?
Is this the expected joyous outcome after USA's "happy" 4th of July?
Yeah, I know it is still morning over there now but still, this can be resolved more appropriately.
I begin to wonder why ZTE not popular in China like the other chinese brands. Why the US government overly involved in phone business? Got nothing better to do, like actually govern the country!? All I see is just a bunch of people wasting time trying to push each other. Ugh.
Don't banned your knee ZTE... Your deserve for better market ... Who know when will the trump go to shut you down again..Better leave the market
ZTE should not be allowed to trade anywhere in the world after what they did. Truly a despicable company. And even more despicable management.
Their deserve more punishment for their intentional wrongdoing actions.
Idiotic yanks, they better keep their paws off ZTE/Nubia
Rokka, 04 Jul 2018Just quit US ... You got bigger market out there.. US is the flagship market which makes it the most profitable market. That's why everyone wants to sell phones there.
Also lol at commers.
Man I hope Trump ends up succeeding and ZTE can make the Axon 9 and other phones on the future, not to mention that they're important in the development for 5G
Rokka, 04 Jul 2018Just quit US ... You got bigger market out there.. Indeed, but they get a lot of the components from the US and the US is actually a big. market. They have sold to US for a long time and other markets are far too crowded.
Rokka, 04 Jul 2018Just quit US ... You got bigger market out there.. Absolutely, ZTE need not do down on its knees begging for the US market.
It's clear the US is a hostile unwelcome market for them, they should just up and leave.
Well...we can only sit back and see what happens.
