LG are always so slow in releasing handsets. One of their new phones takes your fancy but by the time it comes out you have bought something else.

AnonD-241270, 02 Jul 2018Yeah, and within 4/5 moths we get the V40 so, V35 at this time is a NO GO! i dont know what... moreTo be clear, LG V30S ThinQ and LG V35 ThinQ are part of LG new DeepThinQ artificial intelligence. It was showcased at CES 2018 on January. V30S ThinQ was also announced at MWC 2018 on February just to prove the point.

Its more like AI race. The original V30 itself as said by LG can be updated to have the same AI feature like V30S ThinQ. So, they are basically still the same phone but more ram and storage variant also available. As for V35 ThinQ it is actually a more premium version of G7 ThinQ - both announced on May 2018. Specs wise are similar but only V35 have the P-OLED display while G7 still using LCD. G7 also have a taller screen with a notch and just slightly higher clockspeed; 0.1 higher.

G6 is already a beast even if it's powered by the 2 year old SD821. Good thing the new LG flagships don't suffer bootloops anymore.

Geric.770, 02 Jul 2018Soooo, how was your V10 bro? I heard that they are the laziest company in terms of updates. My V10 is running fine, i just use it for work most of times now, at week...at weekend i use the G6 and both run smooth and fine.

Well, updates for V10 is over, but i hope LG sometime at mid 2019 give the Android P to G6, is almost right they will do it, since all high end receive 2 major Android versions.

V10 even knowing to have bootloop issues and etc, LG give it Nougat (they arrive with Lollipop, have the Marshmallow update and now Nougat), my hopes now is on G6, because V10 lost some of the magic with the G6 and V10 on my hand of course.

V10 still have that impressive HiFi DAC and my most used feature: IR Blaster but, since i only use it for work it does the job as i intend to.

i dont know what happen in LG Mobile CEO brain but they are doing it way way wrong than they promisse...

"We only delivery new phones if necessary" - i remember...but now i see thats not true, instead they are doing the same V30 style phones with some tweaks making people who buy the first or second gen V30 mad at LG because they buy something "old" right now, because V35/S models are a updated SoC phones.

Why LG?! meh, dont bother, my G6 will die with me and then if your thing keep this way i just move on to other brand...
