Jamesschwarz987, 02 Jul 2018Only for a show-off lolThat's Huawei!
I thought it was only because of the sensor, it's too small lol
That's why i hate tonal noise reduction and auto-sharpening image... i only prefer sharpen image selectively by manual edit and color noise reduction.
Geric.770, 02 Jul 2018Yes, there is "Light Painting" but turns out to be like a Bokeh effect on my device technicall... moreLol the oil panting effects present on the phone because of the aggresive sharpening and high noise reduction.
As for the aggresive overprocessed image on smartphone nowadays, i really hope they put the sharpness to natural, just add some sharpness around the edges, kind of like what X-Reality technology on Sony's TV. With that, no artifacts will present even after noise reduction added.
Another day another OnePlus issue. Can't have enough.
Oppaii, 02 Jul 2018What? Watermark is not the case...Yes, there is "Light Painting" but turns out to be like a Bokeh effect on my device technically.
Watermark is the closest option to OnePlus' Oil Painting.
All phones with high resolution sensors do this..
That is why Apple followers use 12MP too...
Easy to hide it when you crop....
On Huawei phones, it is called "Watermark" which is present even on low end devices. Handy for certain purposes, but overall it's useless.
