I think.....that they wanna keep it small so that when graphene battery becomes the norm, they already have how small it needs to be, but hey that's just a theory

the chinese do know their tech. from design to colour, face detection, impressive battery capacity/size (looking at you samsung), pop-up mechanism, screen to body ratio etc. in fact all of these and more in a tiny space.
hope the americans, koreans and their fanboys learn from this.

That battery size is quite small for 3730mAh capacity. Looks like it is one hell of a dense battery.
Also kudos to Oppo for being able to incorporate such a complex mechanism in such small body. A truly impressive engineering feat.

While a great showcase of engineering and design, it's hard to overlook the fact that repairing this device will be a nightmare.
