Multitasking isn't it's strong point but in terms of durability and battery life it beats the Wildfire hands down. If you prefer the UI of Android I can't blame you, but Belle is one major improvement if your considering.

when symbian 3 came out it was not so special!so i havnt had any symbian 3 phone!but now belle making me to buy again a nokia phone.and will also go for my first sexy windows ph frm nokia!i think windows phone gonna rock.as two giants are working on it

symbian phones are still one of the most sold smartphones
there is a difference from market share and sold units
share is down because of more competition, but sales are up
android have so many options, you go to a shop and see 100 androids and a few symbians. still, android is not so far ahead. if it was so good, it should have 80% market share by now

Every year I was hearing "This will be the year for Linux"
Yeah, right...I see less improvements over Linux year after year...
Worst, there was a few computers start launched with Linux, Today ALMOST NONE...
Even Samsung confirm launching Linux PC's was a REAL DISASTER for them and the stop putting Linux on their Laptops and uses only Windows....

i've been using symbian for 14 years now and it's still rock solid... moreI also used Symbian in fact I use phones since 1994 and almost all of them was Nokia's, but Symbian hasn't changed that much since S60 I'm sad because Belle and Anna came very late to this game.
But I'm not killing Symbian is that Elop, are firing people at Symbian development and they are very desperate in close (slowly) everything around Symbian.
Actually I have an E7 BUT I wish see more future on this phone, but I still know his limitations, since I also have an Atrix and iPhone, so the differences exists.

as microsoft with nokia it would be great combination afterall we all want change..
another thing is as nokia mostly provides multi touch input it helps ppl to be used to.
