Opps! It's Android 8 (Oreo) & not 9 (P). It will take another 2-3 months for testing before hitting the handsets. My so called low end Nokia 3 got Oreo update back in April 2018.
Shame on Shamesung!

From what I know there is no plan upgrade for your version. Better off buying a new phone buddy. Any phone with android Oreo is good especially the one that support Project Treble.

As for android P dont even dream getting it in two months unless you using Pixel, Nokia or any android p beta phones. The other brands probably rolling out android p beta test first after August/September even if android P is already official.

Lol. Android P (as in 9.0) is about to roll out within two months for the first devices and Samsung announces that they will roll out Android Oreo (as in 8.0, so not even the latest Oreo) on their midrangers within a month or so.
