I will go for the amoled version. I am tired of using note 8 with lags and duplicate apps. And mostly samsung's skin sucks. Here and there blur(read iphonish) - childish inconsistent theme. lot of ugly apps(read iphonish) and high price(iphonish) - unnecessary features like edge panel. Total crap.

Iphone it's only about this, power and performance in benchmarks. Get always the top score, but than, in real life use, who cares if I open the app 1 sec faster. The people care about battery life, screen quality, camera, etc, and apple lose on this fields.
