The security flaw is the grease on our fingers. You can easily tell what the pattern looks like by the traces and finger prints on the screen surface.
Win, 02 Oct 2011I'm not saying that there is no lock screen. I said there is no password lock screen like the ... moreThere is!!!
There has been a password lock screen on symbian since S60 or probably even earlier. You are mentioning about lock keypad. There was a feature to lock handset as well, still is. Press power button as in when you change profile, it should be the last option. Default lock code 12345 AFAIK

mygothicheart, 02 Oct 2011i don't think its just at&t's fault, or else it would be all of at&t's phones that wou... moreThen you're wrong, because the international Galaxy S 2 doesn't have this problem, it's always the telco specific versions that have problems.
I have an international version of the S2 and it has not have any of this issues!
i don't think its just at&t's fault, or else it would be all of at&t's phones that would be having this security issue, it's an android issue, based on their prior record, andoir really is a buggy os, and very susceptible to bugs and security issues, android really doeas suck :(
[deleted post]What's really shame is the fact that Symbian is losing user base everyday. Something is definitely missing on Symbian that makes it unworthy getting it over Android or iOS for most people. Why do you think that is? If Symbian was any good wouldn't more people get it? How do you explain Symbian having fastest decline rate?
It's kind of hard to find viruses, malware, spyware etc on Android. Unless you're the kind of idiot that goes out to look for trouble, chances of coming across malware is extremely slim.
Trolls like you should really be banned from forums. Where are the moderators?
AnonD-24281, 02 Oct 2011You see you and your fellow nokia fan boy come to or forum and bash android. But when we come ... moreCan't u read? Go back to school learn alphabets. I'm protecting Samsung LOL. I said it is AT&T fault, not Samsung or Android fault. And it shouldn't be a big news bcoz it could bring bad reputation. Is that clear enough to you? Or i need to pronounce it for u too? Jeez...
just picked up my AT&T Galaxy S II and I'm able to bypassing the pattern drawing screen too. I don't see an "Immediately" option for scree timeout. The short timeout option is 15 seconds...
Easy fix is to turn Screen Timeout to Immediately
