Obviously it's a copy of apple at the front. use your eyes and look at ... moreSo is the every other phone out there , it's a techincal problem not a copy from apple , Too have a full screen the cost is much more for production , Hence they have to use the notch to reduce the bezels.
The full screen phones currently cost anywhere between 700$-1000$ , So if you need to reduce the bezels you need to put the sensors some where.
You may be expecting Nokia to provide a full screen display at 140$-$200.

So don't even try to associate Essential into this. It is a copy of Apple. it might not be as bad as others chinese phones where the front and back are copied... but the shape of the notch is exactly the same as Apple. So you can leave essential's "dot" out of this and think

With a notch that big, might as well drop it!
I don't have anything against notches, but this can barely accommodate the clock, let alone the battery!
Just because you want better screen/body ratio doesn't make it okay to give the screen small horns.

If Nokia ignores notch, its skipping some of the potential customers. So it needs to cover some devices with notch too.

People usually call premium well built phones , With 3 years of Software support and Premium Service [ overpriced ] , Hence companies only launch them very late or usually at the end of their life cycle to achieve a low price.

There are only few ways that you can make a notch , Essential Made it First , Then there was apple , Then everyone followed the trend.
Going forward we will have phones will no bezels , So every phone will look the same from the front , Hence according to you every phone will be a copy of each other.
The Front design on phones is history now , Going forward we will see changes only in the back of the phone.

Can anyone explain how the sd710 is better than sd660 ?
From what I know sd660 has 4xA72 + 4xA53 cores
While the sd710 has 2xA75 + 6xA55 cores.
How do 2 big cores do better than 4.I know the architectural advancements but the performance upgrade due to it would not be enough to call it an upgrade.
Also the A53 core has been milked for a very long time especially considering that the big cores don't run for long before heating and shutting down unlike the small ones.

They... moreThere were full screen/glass on android phones when apple made ridiculous bezzels, small.screens/batteries and bending bodies. Notches were already up in the market for at least 1 year before crapple. Just cause crapple follows the trend it does not mean they made it! Stop being sooo typical wannabe and learn before writing something that only shows fanboy'ism and ignorance.
