Apple is getting on bad side of every single chips maker out there. Suing Qualcomm, suing Samsung, ditching Intel. What is left for iphone? The good old Mediatek and TSMC only.
Zenodroid, 06 Jul 2018They are going all Samsung chips again? They're gonna use MediaTek instead for communications.
Zenodroid, 06 Jul 2018They are going all Samsung chips again? that'll be... funny. Apple infringe Samsung patent and manage to ban old iPhone sales in US—it's homeland back in 2012, but Obama vetoes it and ever since then, they use other manufacturer to power their 2G and 3G connection, and use Qualcomm and Intel's modem for their 4G connection. Then, for whatever reason Apple sues Qualcomm but Qualcomm counter-sues, making this Samsung vs Apple all over again, without the Galaxy SII rectangle in rounded design debacle, of course. With Intel drops their 5G development because of Apple ditching them, they could use Mediatek's modem, as other report claim. I highly doubt they'll use Qualcomm as their only supplier for their modem as it's basically will losing their battle in court, and Samsung has bad blood with Apple in the past.
AnonD-762314, 06 Jul 2018What happens if they go totally solo? 2022 headlines: Apple sues Apple for 20 Billion ;'DHahahahahahaha! Nice!
Let's be real though. A company can't sue itself.
