They're just not available to purchase through the networks. That's what Xiaomi is trying to negotiate, having their devices sold through carriers.

I hope they fixed the screen issues with the Max 3. My Max 2 had poor gray/black calibration, which resulted in too dark scenes in video, not being able to make out details.
