Justin, 04 Oct 2011For people who don't know. Orange is the only provider in the UK who has rolled it out so far!... moreincredible s is released a month after desire s, so if desire s is getting update, our incredible s will get it too. so no need to buy new phone. some people just can't buy new phones whenever they want to!

I just rooted my HTC Desire (not Desire S) and I'm now running 1 gig internal memory with 2.3.7 :)

Although I dont have sense anymore it feels snappier and battery is lasting way longer. I used TMod Express btw:)

For people who don't know. Orange is the only provider in the UK who has rolled it out so far! Be patient our providers will release it soon. Also it has been announced it will not be provided to any HTC models before the Desire S due to limitations with the hardware of the phone. Yes it does run on older models but it is not stable and HTC choose not to support something that is going to cause issues with the overall performance. To the people complaining about the Incredible S not getting the update, get a new phone!

no good, 03 Oct 2011What about Desire HD? Man what ya talking about HTC Desire HD is always a head of every other ... moreI thank you very much for your suggestion! Yes, that's a good idea but I just fear that once I install XDA's I won't be able to get official updates(if there's any to be released). I will wait for 18 months from launch period and then hack it. Just trying to be positive ;).
