Great Christmas Gift from HTC.
Got the OTA update to Android 2.3.5 and HTC Sense 3.0 in India. Looking good. It downloaded and installed for me in approx 2hrs on a 512Kbps WiFi. Keeping fingers crossed for ICS sometime next year --HTC Desire S.

Still on 2.3.3 with sense 2.1 on tmobile in the UK. Checked for updates but nothing available. Got quite a few bugs with the last It's update- sometimes can't receive or make calls. What a joke!!

Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 update downloaded and running on HTC Desire HD. OTA download in Slovenia was available from at the 15.12.2011.

Finally update is coming to India. HTC India on Facebook has said update will be available with in a week. But I didn't get it still.

Hello,
Received the update with my Desire S but it didnt take effect. I am still on version 2.3.3, even the last OTA update didnt take effect. My gf had the update, same phone and it worked well. Any idea why mine is not working? We're in the Philippines.

Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 update downloaded and running on HTC Desire S with stock ROM from MTN in South Africa. Not rooted or anything. OTA download was available from at least the 10th

The problem with using this ROM is that it might cause some problems when your home country isn't in Europe since this ROM has a European radio. The first few releases of the 2.3.5 for the DS got problems with the shutdown menu not showing. I am not sure if this is an updated ROM with a fix for that, so the safest way to update is still to wait for it to be pushed on your device so that we will all be confident that we are getting the version who has corrected bugs from the first release and proper operation for your home country.

follow that link to update ur htc desire s it keeps most of the things on ur sd card so backup the things u want to keep. Follow instructions on the site above. It is the official update of android 2.3.5 and sense 3.0. When it wipes ur phone check for software updates and one will show up.

They must have launched this all across the globe. I think they'r underestimating Indian users from the very beginning. I think if thats the case, we all should kick them out.

2.3.5 with Sense 3.0 updates are out for the Desire HD and Incredible S... Desire S updates went out 3 months ago, and yet not available globally yet! No update here in the Philippines yet...

its waste of waiting for such a long time, if htc really cares about htc users they would have lunched the updates in one shot for all countries.. so please stop waiting for the updates....
