$999 for a Sony phone rofl! There tripping ! 3 months later the phone would have depreciated to $499 and 3 months after that....$200.
I applaud the previous posters comment about bring back Sony Ericcson .
I wont buy another Sony phone again, Lacks innovation and dull and boring !

Clearly they don't aim to have a massive sell out, but it's more like a niche product.

My Sony Z3 was 900 USD. I never regret for my purchase as it works fine till now unlike my friend's Samsung S5 which lags like hell. Sony's quality is unbeatable. Just need to improve camera.

It's worth the price IMHO, I mean, look at the number of innovations:
1- first phone with fingerprint sensor in the dead center
2- first phone with the camera placed where the fingerprint sensor should be
3- first phone that is breakable on all sides

Sony should have been more bold and listed this puppy at $1399, so people won’t mind it if they were able to get one for $999 on sale.
