Anonymous, 10 Jul 2018Oh. It's just a spec. It's meaningless. Only a more optimized 10 year old memory chip matters ... moreCompletely nonsense, go do something more useful instead of spreading misinformation

You need to reread everything again. And next time actually make sure you understand what you are replying to before replying.
Why is that so hard for most people to do?

Well and for what sake.
It will find no real sue .
Current flagship phnes are fast enough they dont even have to chance for a lagg.
And mid rangers or budget phones will cost as current flagships.
This tech have no future.
At the moment there is no device which can use this new tech at 100%.

AnonD-83364, 10 Jul 2018The power consumption savings alone will be huge. Not really, Samsung and friends will just decrease the battery capacity some more in order to shave off 0.2mm and gloat about how "thin and futuristic" it is.

Yet now it will become too fragile and their response is going to be "put a case on it"... so the whole make it thinner and stylish aspect becomes pointlessly moot.
