1. When it comes to processor performance and control. Apple has it. Sony doesn't.
2. Where's the Face ID on the latest xperia device with TrueDepthCamera?
3. In storage. Apple has 512GB model. Sony currently has 64. And is dependent on memory card.
4. In Augmented Reality. Apple has already made a lot of AR apps. How many AR is it on the sony part?

Just check any waterproof tests online... I usually run into the pool again and again making cool 4k videos with my xz premium. It's amazing. Happened multiple times that it fell to the pool from my hand while recording a video on a slip way with huge speed. No problem at all... Massive phone. Respect to Sony

For the most part, iPhone users do ... moreThe point is that Sony is innovating more than apple when it comes to it offers and yes its a loss of head phone jack but honestly every phone is going that route sooner or later and some how people will be forced to accept it and you will accept it when you see there is no escape. Wireless is the future.
Sony is more than a brand name and that's why people should buy them, yes they have mistakes but it compensate by other things the put into the phone, not like the iPhone who has nothing and not even trying.

The I will tell you, he couldn't do the wireless charging and the ip rating because it would have increased the phone's price by $200 and that's why he doesn't want to lose his price tag, also another point to mention, the price of onepluse is increasing every year by $50

With bezels you can hold the phone in one hand and start video recording with the same hand. It's not possible without bezels and of course dedicated shutter button...
I think xz2 small bezels are even a bit small (but nice and acceptable) to comfy use the phone as camera.

Prometheous, 11 Jul 2018Everything is true. 100% agreed. But Sony should try to make their phones available widely. True and expansion but first it must be desirable so they can increase the shipments of the units.

It is a small version without 4K screen.
XZ2 Premium is not global device, but restricted like XZs.
There are still 4 devices for this year, 5 FCC ID showed up since june, one is XA2+.
Still unclear if XZ2P is the main phone this year

I refuse to buy a phone without a headphone jack because I find it very inconvenient, I can use wired OR wireless headphones and I can watch videos/listen to music/play games while charging my phone. Why pay more for less features? It's mind-boggling to me that people are actually applauding removal of useful features and being limited with their choices.

Brands are pushing their costumers to use wireless earphones/headphones, they start to remove the jack from their flagship then eventually mid-rangers too. Wireless Headphone is much more easier to use than with wires (i don't mind charging it since it juss takes 30 mins) especially if you use Sony WH-H900N
