Nice they're trying and making something innovative which needs to be done and the design is nice
Just market the phone aggressively and spread the word to as much people as possible

No headphone jack on flagships was not decided by Mobile.
They got orders from above to kill the jack.
Midranges have it because most of their sales are flagships
Sony sold more wireless than wired headphones in 2017, that is the reason.

What sucks about this, isn't that the XZ3 is coming sooner than expected, but rather it's already made the XZ2 Premium outdated. Boy has Sony screwed up for this year. The only way to truly salvage it would be to cancel the XZ2 Premium and get cracking on launching the XZ3 as a whole series - with the Premium included.

Front = 1/3.06"
Front wont be connected to AUBE, because it does not work closer than 1 yard. So no Macro either, it goes off.
Probably just wider one like XA2 Ultra

I understand this jack love thing but I think new Sony wireless headphones and earbuds have so good noice cancellation technology and DAC that jack not even necessary for Sony users.
I personally use a Sony Ericsson MW600 headset since 5 years and it has perfect sound. Not one of my friends use newer Sony Bluetooth headsets and all of them say that these accessories sounds beautiful and perfect.
Plus Sony may give a professional headset gratis...
So I don't think that leaving jack is so bad thing...

Sony used to be hopeful. Now they killed themselves by removing the headphone jack, terrible design. Instead of making good things better they joined the wagon and made bad things worse.

Blimey when are these phone companies going to realise that we dont want 15 cameras on the front and another 15 on the back!!
Just give me one decent camera on both sides........
If I want proper photos I use my Dslr camera!

I hope Sony returns the once unbroken headphone jack, DON'T throw in a NOTCH, make it the same design as Xperia XA2 Plus on the front just announced recently on Xperia XZ3.
