Actually, sealed batteries in a smartphone have a limited lifespan - and manufacturers don't stock old model smartphone batteries because they'd rather want you to buy a new model. That's planned obsolescence. FACT: The smaller the battery capacity, the faster the battery wear and tear. In a year or two, you're going to have to charge your 3000mAh+ SONY flagship smartphone 3-4x a day while the cheap, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will still not require daily charging with its huge 5300mAh battery. Guess which phone ends up in the landfill faster? You guessed it. More phones get replaced from battery problems than from water damage. That's another fact.

Currently using XZP and the old X Z.
I discovered that I love scripting and coding in general. Never did any studies about this subject in school. I'm trying to learn everything by myself.
Sometimes I like sharing some of this knowledge to others that might find it useful and interesting.
I also fiddle with pen-testing :)
People need to know there are alternatives out there.

If you tell yourself it's the best 10 times you will believe it. Also going based on your list of most sold devices.. doesn't really have much going for you.. like most sales people.. these are the best because I say so crap.. with any explaining to say to why in terms of build quailty.. I bet you believe dxomarks.. even though the p20 pro camera is over sharpened and contrasted.. but people will believe what they want

I'm not promoting Xiaomi in a Sony forum. I was just defending it from stereotyping of some Sony users here who claim the only thing it has is cheap price. I'd like to correct that wrong perception about Xiaomi's phones because Xiaomi is every bit as capable of coming up with high quality, high performance smartphones as Sony, Samsung, and even Apple - at much lower price points.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2018Have a look at the LG V30 from last year or the LG V35/V40 they have two mics allowing concert... moreNot sure how they compare to lumias in quality, and though LG got the best mics out there right now in new flagship, simple stereo vs. 3D stereo is quite difference. Not sure why, but Older lg phones were with at least 3 mics, now just 2.
Same as with their camera centric approach being great, but failing at sensor size.
