xOdd, 12 Jul 2018The only chinese company that I have respect for.. their other flagships are "flagship killer"... moreYou can also use it to break someone's nose.
Kishan, 12 Jul 2018does that mean it will be availiable to buy then? also, are they going to release the mi max ... moreFirst of all they will release China version and after that in one month or two will be Global version
The only chinese company that I have respect for.. their other flagships are "flagship killer" killers.. and now these entry level phones are competing with midrangers.. well done
I am a user of Mi Max (1). Screen proportions 18:9 for such a big phone does not make any sense. You anyway never operate it with one hand, so width is just fine. To minimize problems with carrying it round you should better reduce the height of the phone.
I would keep it 16:9 (like Mi Max) while _reducing_ the height by having thinner bezels. That would make it more portable, because height is usually the limiting factor in various pockets.
18(19):9 is basically a trick for smaller phones to keep it narrow enough to use in one hand while allowing large screen size.
Have the Mi Max 2 since last august. Hope they chop : 6-7mm of its width & 10-12mm of height, don't really need this big a battery, they are free to reduce capacity by ~10% if needed.

Hope they release a smaller Mi Max 3 Mini version with 5.9" screen with 400 mAh battery and all other same specs.
Should 've had 710 instead of 636. Also they better fixed the display this time, it was way too dark in the grays/blacks.
why not miui 10?
I just hope the pro version with s710 is real!!!
1.8GHz? Definitely using SD636. Will they release the Pro variant with SD660 later? Hopefully they don't, many would like the more powerful version released concurrently.
