This A2 Lite thing just again indicates how many 625 and microb ports xiaomi have left in their stocks.. Look how many phones they made.. Better to buy A1 over A2 lite, camera is better, same chipset..

as always they delay release of the phones to Europe, at first months you have to overpay for them phones badly, When prices become normal, then they release 5-10 new phones, then you are waiting for new/better ones.. Who is running xiaomi like this should be sacked.
For exeample one plus 6 are all around the world and prices are normal in Europe, mi8 is not in Europe for sale, when it arives it will probably cost 700-800$..

I feel that Xiaomi is announcing Mi A2 Lite so as to appease those who want a headphone jack and a microsd slot (hybrid one) yet giving the pure android experience (albeit with slightly dated specs). Xiaomi most probably does not want the backlash over TWO NECESSARY features that are omitted on Mi A2.

I thought the Mi A2 Lite would be something similar spec'ed to Redmi S2, turns out it's a Redmi 6 Pro...

What the logic releasing Mi A2 Lite with SD625? You can get Mi A1 cheaper with same chipset.

Wayy too expensive. Mi 8 SE costs ~$270-280. How is this $350? Anyway in India it'll probably be ~16k ($240).
Also the color looks good. They should definitely launch black front Mi A2s other than the standard all black color version.

Mi A2 Lite? GOOD that it comes with a headphone jack and a microsd slot (albeit hybrid one) which makes it a BETTER alternative to Mi A2 (sans jack and microsd slot). Though it has a NOTCH and slightly dated specs, I could let these ones slide.
