Like a phone just wait a year for price to drop and then buy that phone brand new its much better than refurbished or buy it from a friend or relative

Then between choosing 2 lousy OS, it's a no brainer not to spend so much on the more expensive one.

Back then, my neighbor who own a greymarket smartphone store downright not recomending me to buy redmi 3.

He is purging his redmi 3 stock (sell it to other store) due to high return rate. From autofocus failure, to not responding screen, etc.

If i want xiaomi, he recommend redmi note 3 pro instead. I bought one, still using it till today.
I planned to replace it with redmi note 5 ai tough.

In the report it says failure rates which means number of bad devices/number of refurbished ones right? So sales numbers don't mean anything.

Most refurbishers don't bother with fixing everything, if there's thermal paste I doubt they even replace it. So performance issues are normal with SoC throttling.

Also, should the internal memory be changed, do you think they'd put a top of the line one?
That also applies to speakers, vibrators, and sometimes even screens.

Samsung keeps getting bloated with every updates. About the 2nd or 3rd major update and see it stutter. And most of those updated apps that suddenly get abndoned years after release? Unremovable and uselessly hanging around.

Apple? Let's just forget the slowdown issue because it's juat probably some IOS users using their phone wrong.

performance is not something that can be "repaired" do they just factory reset the phone and give it back? It's probably all those normies installing Facebook without knowing it datamines them 7/24
