Bokeh is not the only feature you can do with additional camera sensors. Wide angle camera are great (loved it on my LG V10) but manufacturers have been reducing their FOV with every release. Just look at LGs track record. In the meantime, i'm having fun zooming and capturing distant objects on my P20 Pro.

Monochrome sensor wasn't that popular because of the fact that Huawei didn't really make good use of that idea.
Let Sony show the world how it's done, and the people will change their minds about how great can a monochrome sensor become if it works as it's inteded to be.

Monochrome is totally useless as Pixel 2 XL achieves an incredible camera performance without any monochrome-assisted lens. Telephoto lens is gonna be a gimmick as Pixel 2 XL can do pleasing bokeh effect without any additional lens. Wide angle camera is the most useful. Samsung, Apple, Sony, Huawei and Xiaomi have to follow Google footsteps.

Have smartphone cameras become saturated??
This dual and triple camera gimmick is only to hide the fact that the main camera for any company hasn't improved much since the Galaxy s7.Only the Huawei p20 pro and the yet to release Sony Xperia xz2 premium have something to show. The (real)Nokia 808 still remains the king.

i still dont know what that advanced sensor stands for... maybe something like Xperia XZ2 Premium? Combining high detail from the BW sensor with the bayer filtered sensor one?
