A solid phone, good camera, amazing performance of SD710 and i am okay with ... moreNot to mention the lack of a microsd card slot to store the videos and photos if you use the Mi 8 SE camera a lot. Sure you can depend on Cloud but for "SECURITY" reasons, Xiaomi/Google wants to "ACCESS" your photos and videos.

I own a Mi 8 SE.
A solid phone, good camera, amazing performance of SD710 and i am okay with the notch.
But pretty disappointed with not having a headphone jack in it. USB C to 3.5mm headphone jack converter just ruined the fun of listening music on headphone.

Walter C. Dornez, 14 Jul 2018Perhaps the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be a perfect phone for youI don't mind the SD 660 chipset vs SD710 but the OLED screen of the Mi 8 SE is the clincher. Been a big fan of OLED screens and unfortunately in the price range I can afford Samsung seems to be the only manufacturer of OLED screen phones.

With this Mi 8 SE you can either really hate it or really love it. There is no in between. The notch is really just there for the trend. No fancy 3D face scanning and not even bezel less either. The only thing i could really really love here is the SD710 performance.
