And I am currently having the American S9, sure, less power on the CPU, but the GPU is amazing. The E9810 was a flop because one reason, to truely unleash the power held in the sleeve you had to reduce into a penta core configuration, The whole point of having a powerful CPU is that I can use ALL 4 Simultaneously and safely
The 18 core G72 was decent but I wouldn't really call it a flop. However, what did annoy me, is the fact I was closer to have 3 GB of ram than 4 promised, it did bypass 3072 by a bit. But 4 GB of ram should be 3.7, not 3.1.. on both the recording went swell and excellent though.
That's my take on E9810 vs S845.
I don't think that S9+ deserves to win, as i consider it a downgrade to S8+.
But OnePlus 6 deserves to lose for 2 reasons, first for copying Apple's notch without reaching their screen to body ratio, which was the reason notches exist.
And second for ending their legacy of cheap flagship killers...
Contender 1 : screen only 8-bit pentile with red tones for white, burn in , only 10min 4K30 or 5 min 4K60, shitty front cam, slowest flagship of 2018, android P in late february, fragile built , awful position of FPS, no QC3.0
Contender 2: full hd 8-bit pentile reddish, burn in, only 10 min 4k30, no hdr screen, no slot sd, no ip68, no stereo speakers, ugly notch
Can we have no winner?
The scores on this match is going to be like the actual Finals. Ratio of 4-2 with Samsung winning the game.
Galaxy S9 Pros.
*Pros
›High-end build
›Excellent display
›Long (but not class-leading) battery life
›Universally great camera performance
›Feature-rich custom software
Cons
›Expensive
›Heavy, almost Note8-heavy
›Feature-rich custom software might be too feature rich for its own good
While the 1+ 6
-Pros
›The increased price is still much lower than current top-end phones
›Super fast charging, good battery life
›Oxygen OS has a stock look, but offers more features, and is blazing fast
›The improved primary camera kinda makes up for the meaningless secondary one
-Cons
›What are we to do with a claimed water resistance but no IP rating?
›A proper telephoto/ultra-wide camera would be more useful
›No microSD slot, no wireless charging, no headset in the box, proprietary charging peripherals
I've had Samsung telephones for 7 years now and I think they goofed with the S9. E9810 was a flop (lucky Americans who get the S845 variant) and the camera isn't that good.
One plus has always been dedicated to have nots, while the galaxy is for the have nots that strive for a little bit more.
Considering how many people I've seen on this site hate Samsung, I'm very surprised with these results. I didn't expect the S9+ to win
1- Blackberry Z10
2- Sony xz1 compact
3- iPhone SE
4- Nokia 8 Sirocco
