Aaargh the only thing keeping me from buying this is if it has a lower performing GPU than the iPhone 4S and no 42 mbps 4G. If that's the case, then I'll have to wait for a Kal-El 720p Super-AMOLED HD 42mbps ICS phone. That would be amazing.

Lol. Some are worried about the black of screen having backlight. of course it's not a total black, it's gray.

For those who are saying it's big, then don't get it. As simple as that. It's not created for you so it's not meant for you. Get something else.

Steve, 04 Oct 2011the "touch buttons" dont look superimposed over the screen, they look to be similar ... moreThat's because the screen is likely Super AMOLED+ which means that blacks are so black that it appears like a sheet of plastic when the backlight isn't lit, also the screen is so close to the surface of the glass, it looks like the buttons are right on top.

                These are on-screen buttons.

Okay so explain me : 4,6" is the total screen, with the buttons ? So the "real" screen space is 4,3, right ?

If it's right, it's good, because the phone will not be larger than the actual 4,3" phones (maybe more little if the high is little). And it's in my opinion the maximum for a phone. If it's larger, I will not take this. Too large. I think 4" is the best compromise (with harware buttons).

PS : for those saying the bezel is too large : especially of the phone is large and thin, it would be impossible, with rather no bezel at back, to have the phone in one hand and hit the buttons without letting your precious phone falling down to the ground. At least it would not be confortable at all. You can't put your thumb at the beginning of the phone comfortably (try on whatever phone you want, it will tire your thumb).

This is strange, this should be an AMOLED screen, and that background is probably black. Why do I see a backlight? Could be just room lighting though, or really bad camera noise.

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2011Might be the Galaxy S II killer this one. Apple are still yet to produce a Galaxy S II killer.I don’t think so. iphone 4s won’t be that tough opponent against Galaxy S II. First due to the high price Apple is asking for. Second, All indications state that iPhone 4S will come with an identical design to iPhone 4 which is really pathetic from Apple. They had us wait all this time for an image same to iPhone 4. Really!!!, I can’t buy it because if I do, no one will notice that I have a 4S with superior Hardware.
