>>Just look at the shot, those letters look like printed on paper.

Well we COULD use a bigger photo, 'ya know... can't really see much of anything in a 263x350 pixel image.

But yeah, as furiously as I may hate PenTile, 320dpi sounds really nice to my ears. I could probably not complain. It's probably gonna be a bit more coarse than a certain 330dpi display, but nevertheless looking very well.

I'm kind of surprised this thing hasn't been leaked yet - as in, no actual pictures (that we know of) of the device. What happened to Google 'dogfooding' their Nexus devices like they did the N1?

        AnonD-24711, 04 Oct 2011Impossible. A 720p 4.3" screen would have a pixel density of 342 PPI.342 dpi !!!!

EskeRahn, 04 Oct 2011Here we go again... "gives you a pixel density of over 320 dpi, which is certainly mor... moreNonsense. Have you ever looked at above 300 ppi from that distance? Only below 280 ppi you can barely see the pixel pattern.

No! I thought it would have a 4,65" screen. :(

This is nice, especially the 4,3 inch screen , because i was afraid the Nexus prime will be a 4,6 or 5 inch huge screen... but, being 4,3 inch and not having any hardware buttons , this phone will be smaller than the Galaxy S2 but with the same sized screen , witch is a very good thing.

                        Samsung BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!
Today's iPhone 4S and 5 announcement turned fuss. The mobile lovers should boycott the APPLE. Why should we wait and wait for the mobile. If the APPLE can not care for the customers then everyone should boycott the company.

                              Here we go again...

"gives you a pixel density of over 320 dpi, which is certainly more than anyone could need."

                              The short answer is NO!!!

I'm repeating my self from many other threads on this utter nonsense.
320dpi matches a viewing distance of 18.75inches (47.6cm) for persons with very good eyes.

The usual working distance for viewing details on a phone is 20-30cm.
So for old farts like my self, it is ADEQUATE pixel density. Younger eyes could benefit from HIGHER density.

well those letters look pretty much okay, but since we`re mostly looking at them from our desktop screens with pathetic ppi, we can`t tell the difference, can we? :-D
