What a huge anti climax.
I was excited to go and purchase the new iPhone thinking it was going to be completely re-designed but alas no. I will stick with the 4 or i might even try something different. My apple passion is sliding

You know what guys?...I think holding any iPhone right now must feel like a a Bad tattoo as you regret it as you get older only every year after Apple releases a newer one. Apple's business model shares common ground with Communism's stronghold of " 1 way/ 1choice /1 view" to their customers whereas Android practicing true Free Enterprise and capitalism through offering their technology to several manufactures making millions of choices of outstanding mobile devices vs. Apple only having 1 mobile device the iPhone... I can transfer all my info/ data to any other android device but iPhone users only have 1 choice an iPhone. they're just playing Catch Up with android, there should be a new term for iPhone users maybe iGroupies? Free yourself and prosper, there is more than 1 flavor and color to a Skittle's Bag.

Dylan, 04 Oct 2011I bet you they do release an iPhone 5 next year. Either way, I'm with Android - HTC Desire S.android market suckssss. and the htc software is so glitchy that i smashed mine after a few months of using it. iOS is miles ahead of android

SE and apple are the only products in the world that regardless of where you buy them, they will support your native language! Kudos for both companies for supporting all the languages in the world.
I would prefer to buy a phone that supports my language than buy a bozo dual core from samsung that doesn't even benefit from the CPU due to the lack of software support.

Because it's the 5th iphone, right? iphone (2007) iphone... morepeople, apple never intend to name their phone in the order which they come out, it is just a name. some foolish people here asking why the 5th generation iphone isnt named iphone 5. come on, there was no iphone 1 (at least it did not named iphone 1) nor iphone 2. It is just always been people's thought about iphone's naming.

I think the Iphone 4S, i'm not that impressed, I thought with all the rumors about the phone. It would a better spec. I'll my Iphone 3GS and wait till next june when there will be a new one out, I hope the Iphone 5.

Nameless, 04 Oct 2011Very boring apple ..Nothing can compare with the Samsung Galaxy S2. Iphone 4S is so lame. What do you expect from apple anyhow? A new name, upgraded camera and processor. Nothing new. Android all the way!!!

Disappointing. Was hopping for 2 models, this and the 5. Now Apple is still behind the game with a screen that is too small and other features that merely catch up to the competition, it certainly won't put the iphone at the front of the pack. I won't be swapping back.

ICS and WP7 are miles ahead of iOS when it comes to doing things right, iOS darn sucks. iOS5 even copied Android's notifications system by having the pull down notification bar. Never mind that the bar itself was originally Nokia from S60 devices. Original, Apple... PHTT!!!
