Siri makes cer... moreI absolutely agree, except when it comes to the price of apple products, however this is nothing new kinda like paying $600 for prada sunglasses when you can get the same quality product for about 50 bucks!! there is absolutely no reason why these phones need to be so expensive when you could go and get an awesome alternative for close to half the money (eg. sony erricsson arc, HTC Incredible S etc) for gods sake you can even the awesome honeycomb driven motorola xoom for less than a 16GB iphone 4!!!! make these products worth the money apple and then maybe you will get some of mine!!!

Same exact size screen and no 4g. You fail Apple. Seriously, if you already have an iphone 4, what's left to entice someone to get sucked into another 2 year agreement with your service provider, and pay another 200+ for the phone that's already almost identical. Don't tell me it's faster, the hardware on the 4 is already overkill, they make 1 game that can push its limits and it's over in 2 hours of playing. Dumb dumb dumb dumb

It's not all about software and also it's not all about hardware but a combination of the two. I4S looks promising but that tiny screen is not on par with the rest of the specs.

i think its the biggest blunder by apple in this competitive era, and samsung galaxy s2 and samsung nexus prime are way better than this iphone 4s.i will go for either galazy s2 or nexus prime

apples sales pitch is "The most amazing iPhone yet".... obviously they cant say the most amazing "phone" yet! This phone is still behind the SGS2. The SGS2 HD is released in a month and will be at least 2-3 years ahead of apple. (Super AMOLED 720 x 1280 pixels screen at 4.65 inches, 4G LTE, Dual core 1.5GHz and this is isn't as good as the Nexus prime due early next year). LATER APPLE!

I love how the Apple fanbois bashed android handsets having dual cores and sayin' that all that processing power is useless. But now that their favorite fruit has one, it's the next best thing.
And as a matter of fact, Android is using both cores, unlike some people suggested. Ubuntu installed on SGSII says so

Apple understands the game, and gives people useful ways to utilize technology. Siri makes certain tasks more convenient to perform in daily life.
This is appealing to the normal consumer, who may not even know what dual core is, or RAM etc. They just want to know, whether the phone can do what they want it to do.
Of course, some customers are specific about what they want. Android provides this flexibility of course.
At the end of the day, we all want what serves us best. An Android fan will probably not buy an iPhone, and an iPhone fan will probably not buy an Android. A tech fan, will probably drool at both.
