I'm too buying this handset, can't help but think it's a brilliant handset but Apple have taken a short cut option in keeping the iPhone 4 design.

Did apple fan boys just got slapped by their idol? I mean, they didn’t even get a bigger display. Dual-core processor will drain your battery twice as fast.

Player hater talk is just lame.Talking to "Siri" is not the same thing as talking to another human person, you need to really over-articulate to make Siri understand what you want.
iPhone 4S specs only barely beat the specs of the old S2, and for a new expensive iPhone that is not impressive at all! You need to be a blind iPhone-fan if you choose to spend money on this and not on any of the many better Androids, that soon will have a lot better cameras and cpu and gpu and... than this 4s, and N9 have a lot more impressive user interface then 4s.
It must really hurt to be an iPhone-fan today when the whole world was expecting a new revolutionary iPhone 5!

And there is a very important factor here that people are ignoring.
The new iphone4s has a dual band gsm/cdma which makes it fantastic, specially for the people who use cdma bands on their major phones due to carrier support.

Not just taking voice control actions, but how it understands commands, as well as keeps information in memory for follow up commands.

OMG this phone is so advanced more than any other mobile operating system! You can put a flash drive into it and look through files and media you can put a Bluetooth keyboard with a Bluetooth mouse while having it hooked up to your HDTV.... oh wait that's the Samsung galaxy s II... atleast we have siri that is still in beta we can tell that's going to be good especially after the great spell check that apple failed at. Oh and Samsung copied apples design ha I guess that means apple copied LG they were the first to make a touch screen phone with a couple buttons just like apple did after them to bad apple released there phone with specs worse than the galaxy s II 5 months after its release

I love this announcement today, but I know that others won't. The fact is, Apple and Android pursue different strategies, which in general attract different types of users.
I like the announcement today because of Siri, and the improved camera and phone performance.
You may not support it, and prefer another phone, but does that make this a bad phone?

I cannot express in word how disappointed I am.
I have the 3gs, and have been holding off upgrading for over 6 months in anticipation of this phone.
I honestly expected a bigger screen, maybe a slightly different form factor, certainly more than just 'under the bonnet' improvements such as processor and meaningless camera specs.
This phone, pre Samsung Galaxy S2 would have sufficed, but I feel the market has shifted a little and now the screen is just too small.
I don't know, 18 months between phones and this is the best they can come up with?
With that said, its still the best operating system, and with the new improvements to ios5 it makes it the best phone on the market, I'll still buy it, I just wanted more...
