What's the point to buy this phone if you can wait for some beginning of next year and get better Galaxy S10 for less money? Biggest Galaxy will have better specs but only without s-pen.

Yeah, vertically alligned camera; like every other phone in the market. Looks like every other budget phone out there. That kind of taste you want to see in flagship?
Monoke , 18 Jul 2018So the only change is an uglier back? Lol.
Let's see if Sammy fans will fall for this one..Are you buying phone only because of design?
And also, if design is good and phone selling well then why to change it every year?
So the only change is an uglier back? Lol.
Let's see if Sammy fans will fall for this one..
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2018lol Samsung is officially out of ideasThere are no need for new ideas ... it is a Phone not a space ship.
The camera design on the back looks rather ugly.
Every Galaxy Note phone gets less interesting year by year.
The last most interesting one is the Note 4. Note 5 is a good upgrade, but had its battery reduced and removed some essential features like removable battery and microSD Card slot (and didn't gain anything from making it into glass).
nailed it, 17 Jul 2018telephoto my a** its like using newspapers (telephoto) to clean your a**, instead of normal w... moreI think both are useful. I find myself needing to zoom at the expense of quality at times and I also find myself needing to move back when wanting to take some photos. Those two scenarios were actually experienced by me when I went to the 9/11 museum today
Boring and expensive....
PiCosm, 17 Jul 2018Sad they cannot design a nice vertically aligned camera and sensor system like many other phon... moreThey actually have the vertical design on the Galaxy J or A series. I agree that does look better and it also makes more sense on a 6.4 inch phablet.
Sony Xperia FOREVER, 17 Jul 2018Samsung are implementing new strategy: Drop test before release! lol It's not a bug, it's a feature, the broken screen out of the box hahahaha
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2018lol Samsung is officially out of ideasOr more likely is that they're really banking on it for next year
aida27, 17 Jul 2018Well, blue and yellow may be an subaru edition :)Suzuki, iirc, used to use blue and yellow too, look med nice.
someone, 17 Jul 2018See eye doctor ASAP !!You're kidding, look at the source 2, so obvious.
Sad they cannot design a nice vertically aligned camera and sensor system like many other phones. I have a Note 8 and was hoping the 9 would introduce flexible display technology and a few other ground breaking innovations in bio-metrics to make unlocking a phone instant. I can do that with the 8 using trusted devices - a great idea, but not using the camera or finger print sensor - both take time being fiddly to operate.
So boring, i was so disappointed, that for 1000 buck I will by a Iphone or the NEW Huawei mate 20 with the new Kirin 980 that will kill Exynos and Snapdragon on benchmark !
It´s so funny that people spend his time for the,LOL, finger print or NEW SPen.
Realy no innovation but they want my hard bucks. NO NO Samsung.

Apple and Samsung, and most big brands that have large consumer bases just recycle the same design over 2 years. the S8/Note8 was new, the S9/Note9 are just tiny tiny edits of the previous models. You can't expect insane growth year on year, but they need to keep making phones to keep active within the market, so these filler phones are needed. The S10/Note10 will be an indication on Samsung's position in the market.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2018I think the Note 8 had a better back designI agree with you. The Note8 had a lovely back design. If this turns out to be true, the Note9 will look awful with that mess of sensors in the back. Would rather hope they'd stick with it or something, and not do this.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2018We are now witnessing the decline of Samsung as a phone brand. My Samsung fridge is more excit... moreOnce it's basically all screen on the front and camera on the rear, there's really not much left to "innovate" on "design". I think, the insta-charging bluetooth pen is a very interesting feature no one else has. Get a physical remote for your phone, that always works, carried inside the phone.
