Anonymous, 20 Jul 2018That's a nice write up because that's all HTC is...history!The persons always trying to demean 'great history' are the ones without history or story to be proud of

Maybe a year no more and HTC will be ,living only in history books.
Like many others in past good brands such as siemens sony erricsson etc.
Not to worry coz Sony Mobile is gonna follow you soon so you wont be lonely.

Excuse me,but when was HTC glorious?!Am old enough to used phones since late 90” and never ever heard of HTC until ~2010 or so.
Hope this was leadership fault from HTC. RIP for HTC from India
Stan, 20 Jul 2018No, you're not wrong - you're lucky!
I wanted that phone! But HTC decided not to sell it in i... moreHi! Dont be scared of Pressure sensitive buttons. I am using them with no major issues. Its just not as precise as U11 and the update solving this issue is just rolling in Asia and may come soon to USA and Europe as well. So we it might be perfect in few weaks. And by the way I am addicted to how the haptic feedback feels :)
In all the other aspects the phone is perfect for me
Actually I kind of love the fact, that it is possible to fix non-optimal sensitivity setting by software update. It is something that would not be possible with the mechanical solution.
Arvind7955, 20 Jul 2018A phone is mid range if it costs around 25-35000. Atleast for me. Lol... this logic is killing me.
In India they chase affordable phones with focus on camera..But I love HTC I bought HTC U ultra, one of the best audio and UI.
Bye bye htc. Nobody will miss you!!!
Htc phones were't available in India for a year or so. Main reason was, with the advent of jio, majority of phones in India (honor, xiaomi, oppo, etc) came with VOLTE support whereas none of the htc mid-ranges had VOLTE enabled. So it obviously had to go down.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2018Hts has more telents. Thats why xperia xz2/xz2p copies u11No, HTC have talents but their ideas stolen by China brands, but they have introduced squeeze features which is every user friendly and fortunately China brands(do you know which brand I am talking) didn't stole the idea this time.
Sony has own unique design because it has balanced 4 sides 6mm side frame with thicker centered to make comfy and ergonomic in hand. I love Sony waterproof feature and sturdy build and quality entertainment and fast UI even 4 years usage still smooth like new one. That's China brands won't care about except tricky marketing.
Avisek100, 19 Jul 2018People buy phones based on performance, prices and features. Not based on company historyI am sorry to correct you , But Indians buy smartphone based on price to performance , Not the world. Xiaomi is No 1 in India and The world ranking is just because of India and China.
Xiaomi hardly sells phones in Other Zones Oceania , Latam , Europe etc etc , Where Quality and Brand equity is more important.
That's the reason Samsung's and Apples dominate the sales charts worldwide. If everyone cared about price then these brands would have to shut shop long back.
There are still people who care about originality , build quality , Software support as opposed to buying junk at a cheap price.
What a news! Htc was one of the better phone makers, at least in terms of build quality and stuffs, but whatever. India is called S-H by western countries for a reason. Them One Plus and Ximi have successfully brainwashed the sub-80 IQ breeds, which unfortunately are a lot nowadays.
I hope this doesn't affect us the OG Pixel owners, because HTC was responsible for after sales for these phones.
Avisek100 , 19 Jul 20185Z is powered by SD845 so it's definitely not a mid range.A phone is mid range if it costs around 25-35000. Atleast for me.
kenosis, 20 Jul 2018Can I say wrong to have HTC U11+ ? No, you're not wrong - you're lucky!
I wanted that phone! But HTC decided not to sell it in its largest smartphone market - USA
And then the U12 came along with its pressure sensitive buttons. Wish they kept the U11+ physical buttons, and upgraded to OLED instead.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2018hopefully nokia was the last leaving mobile, now days to many copycat phone and customers buy ... moreWish I could share your optimism. HTC is in a much worse state than Nokia was when it sold its IP to HMD.
To tell the truth, I like HMD designs, like Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7.1. We haven't had a proper metal phone since the HTC 10 got discontinued. Unfortunately it seems that the new Nokia (HMD) is also joining the iPhoneX copycat bandwagon. Hopefully it is short term.
Next is sony.
HTC can take their junk/overpriced phones and sick em where it...
lmao even my taiwanese friends say its overpriced junk
