Also all the reviews think the camera is average at best.

This is odd. This variant launched for ~$235 in china and yet is priced near $300 in HK. It will probably have a hard time selling at that price. Redmi note 5 pro 4/64 is ~$225 in HK.
Unless they come to their senses and launch it at no more than $230-240 in markets like india, they cannot hope to ever compete with xiaomi.

In canada, the nokia 6.1 is 385$ and the 7 plus is 500$. As long as the 6.1 plus can be found under 420ish i'll buy it

I don't see why Nokia X6 is hyped so much its has average camera no special features SD 636 so does the Asus zenfone max pro M1 and Asus is offering more for less price. I don't see the justification for 300$ price tag when you can get almost same or better for 200-250$ or is it all about this phone is using name of Nokia?
