Its common sense why iPhone 5 was not released. They would have been sued by Samsung anyways for multiple patent violations. Thats the reason which I know myself.

It's all about business...Samsung retaliates because it has to! They also have to project an image of force if they want to win the lawsuits and maybe even dent a little the iphone 5 selles numbers. In a multi-billion business like the mobile phone industry, every company does it's best to try hit it's main rivals. If a business opportunity would occur that would benefit both sides, I'm sure this series of lawsuits would be quickly forgotten....

Ban them all. Phones are a rip off and somehow we have allowed ourselves to get conned into the marketing that tells us we can't live without them.

Nice. iPhone fan here, but I like to see what Samsung think they can do here. All this does is bring things out into the open, and Samsung might not want that, given their past criminal activity.

Wow! The legal battle between these 2 companies seems forever.
They are too protective of their patents (assuming its really their own).
Oh and if only they know the true meaning of "patent" and "innovation", I'm sure none of them would pay royalties to microsoft or nokia. ^_^

Apple started and now samsung is ending it . I sure hope they get to an agreement and lift the ban on all these devices . But I dont think samsung will let go that easyly considering apple have presented tampered evidence in court. Most likely apple will have allot to lose from this and this is not the time, considering they already lost 18 billion in marketshare by failing to announce the iphone5

me, 05 Oct 2011i like how when apple sue its childish and oh so terrible but when samsung do it its ok hahaha... moreApple started it first and forced samsung into the ring only because they were only threat to them. Samsung is only trying to protect itself from the losses made by apples useless bickering.
