Samsung have created what Apple now uses in their phone, and Samsung wants justice.
Samsung created the 3G patents and therefore are Samsung's own. Whoever else uses them without paying royalties for the creator of the patent, it's a patent infrigement.
Example, you paint a nice painting, and someone else claims it's his work. Would you tolerate that?

Voice Recognition has been with around for a long time but it never was optimized or has been the focus. Now that Apple has made Siri, its only a matter of time before we see the whole industry trying to copy it.

Yesterday should have been the announcement of iPOD TOUCH 5 seeing that this lawsuits will lead to banned Iphone 4s in some countries....
I hope Samsung won't agree to a royalty settlement for their patents and let iphone die...

too bad Iphone 5 wasn't announced becaused of this.

At least when HTC introduces the Desire S, it was a complete revamped of design, and with some hardware performance increase.. i am using Desire s, and kinda HTC fanboy, but, yeah, go samsung! Even my gf can't say anything when i said i used vlingo from months ago, with the same function as the newly introduced Siri.. the only one thing i really envy from the iphone is its retina display (the resolution, that is).. but yeah, that's only it.. nothing else.. oh, and maybe the ease of getting accessories (casing and stuff) here in singapore, where 80% of the people are using the overpriced fruit to make phone calls..
