Man Nikon DX3400 cost around 300 and does buillion times better photos than your favorite Sony.
At second its just a phone and if Sony phone for 1000 can run and last 2-4 years so can Xiaomi or Meizu or Huawei for 200 euros all depends on how you care about you device.
And to take you out from reality All you pay on your Sony phone is that sticker with Sony which cost 50% extra .Completely same phone made by Xiaomi would cost up to 500 if we speak about XZ2 premium.
But in case of Xiaomi they will add 8GB ram 256 or 512 disk space 4000+ mAh battery and a dash charger.
Nothing of theses Sony uses.
But keep praising Sony its your choice.
I am speaking from own adn from my customers experience.
Just to tell you i work for a mobile shop in my country for several years.
One of the largest here in Slovakia. With 1-4 shops in every bigger town.
Last thing try to print your Sony made Photo into a large picture i can honestly say you will be very dissapointed.

Lower quality, lower price.
Huawei is best among of those lower quality ones, tho. But it only adds camera sensors and uses SoC processing, XZ2 Premium using two extra camera ISP processors with real time processing, Huawei none. XZ2 P using top quality gorilla glass, Huawei nonamed tempered shattering glass. XZ2 P using topnotch 4k hdr screen, Huawei the cheapest oled it can get...
And Huaweis aint much cheaper either for much lower quality...
I reall dont need to go on with this do I?
And the quality difference most certainly shows.

Compared to MI 8 Explorer for example its crap.
Compared to P20 pro is also crap.
Many other brands will beat this like nothing in every aspect.
The only thing nobody will beat is same stupid old display Sony is using for ages.
And the weight of the phone. When comes to brick sony makes excellent ones.
They would be proficioent at construction sites with its much over 200 grams so called flagships but in real phone market they are just childish company which still thinks everything thats is shinny and polished is raw gold.
Sony is nothing else than a bunch of fools believing they can lie to true fans of mobile phones.

XZ2 Prem has best camera, so it is a good time for release, of making a commercial statement against the released same pricepoint competition.

After ppl asking on social networks , they decide to do it.
But they need to make more phones.
Sony builts according to the sales, they make more as they sell.. They dont do like Apple that has tons of devices since day 1.

Sony executives really do think Xperia flagship phones deserve their premium price. Well the buyers have spoken - they don't. How much longer until Sony realizes they have to abandon their smartphone business before they bleed to death? They should already sell the Xperia line like they did the Vaio laptop line and just focus on gaming consoles.

I hope Sony really understands that its a no lionger company of the past where Sony was as much popular as apple, samsung, Huawei or Xiaomi nowdays.
They gonna shot own legs and they gonna like it i think.
