Having notch its a really problem but maybe they add notch to top and bottom also on left and right side of the phone and on its back so it should look tottaly unique.
Othervise i love good old clasic look.

oem's take? they make the bootloader locked, without any way to unlock it. just like what huawei did recently

- SD card slot.
- the ability to root that phone.
- 3.5mm jack (but I think I can live with a dongle).
- waterproofing.
If any of those features are missing, I'm simply not interested in that phone anymore. I don't care how many cameras it has or how many GB.

Nope.
Rounded corners are nice, I read tons of books on mine; this helps with the grip.
Small bezels are stupid, for the above mentioned reason.

if pay attention an finger print is sort of camera like device and if we could have it under display we certainly can have camera under display!

I still wish the phones keep some bezels on top and bottom. Exactly like Galaxy S9 lineup or One Plus 5T. At least that can allow me to hold the phone from sides without worrying about "accidentally" touching the display.

Because a notch is exactly that. How is that even remotely related to the 'fashion crowd'? The notch hinders basic functionality, I can't use the complete screen because a notch hinders rendering a rectangular image, you know, the shape most displays come in.
Next up, are you going to put people asking for headphone jacks amongst the same 'fashion crowd'?

the screen on the back option clearly doesn't have any link to the issue about front screen and selfie camera, unless, there won't be any selfie camera or sensors in front..

Actually the slide out camera option can be used as a reversed mechanism. e.g. Instead of camera popping out for taking pictures or face unlock, let the screen be with the minimal top bezels. The top bezels can be slide out upwards (like Oppo Find X) instead when we want to watch Videos or Web browsing to make the screen bezel free. It take cares of everyone's problem.

Also, might I add that except for a Pixel, all the notch phones are replica brands.
The notch is a bs trend that is already so last year and a dying niche.

I am just ordinary fans of phones and mobile technology, and yes of course the future is the camera under the screen, with whatever technology in the near future which is putting camera under the screen we will have 95 -100% screen to body ratio, and also keep the phones thin and slim. The notch should extinct and wipe out from the face of
