I voted for full bezel, but actually anything other than popup is good.
Popup camera means waterproofing is nearly impossible. And a phone without waterproofing is okay only if you never leave your room.

I don't really care of FFCs.
Remove that and make way for the screen, and I'll be happy. :)
Under display everything is the future. Sensors and camera and all. It won't be long.

The in display camera is not far fetch. Samsung for example already have transparent oled tv for years now. They even actually have a smart mirror display with Intel Real Sense 3D camera behind it. It wont be long before we see it in phone.

create a full screen phone with dual camera at the back, under display fingerprint, rear screen display, stereo speaker, improve NM chipset and lastly massive battery capacity and we're all good. haha

If possible under the display of course.
Dont like the popup model, to much mecanic, more easy to get problem.
Dont understand the notch thing, xiaomi make a perfect sokution.
And btw, why are companys dont make some phone for us as not taking selfies, i never use that option at all... My 2 girls does :-D

The only people that hate the notch are the internetz guyz that, like always, hate every change in the industry.
Normal people, the one that actually buys phones instead of bashing them, dont have any problem with them, and the sales support that: 1+6, mi 8, p20, iphone X are selling really well, much more than vivo/oppo "solutions".
So why are you so interesting in replace them already?

Notch was also my idea before the iphone X came out, and now the concept of cameras and other stuff under the display. Damn it gsmarena, stop copying me.

Good front facing stereo speakers is what I want don't care if the bezels are as thick as the old Sony's.

Done like the notch because others like it. Some hate the notch because others hate it. But what you like. For me I like it. I want more screen estate. Waiting for the first true bezeless phone without mechanical cameras.

Under display cameras or second screen at back with no front camera tbh notches arent that bad after using iPhone X I kinda liked the notch makes phone unique

I don't like the options.
Obviously camera & other sensors hidden under the display are the future. But for now, I'd rather have them go back to full (yet slim) bezels à la LG V30 and S9(+).
One doesn't make the other incorrect, so which one should I choose?

Why did it become acceptable with notches after Apple launched the iPhone X?
I foresee that the next premium iPhone will not have a notch and all other manufacturers
will soon follow. Phones with notches will be sooo yesterday's tech.

The clear answer here is, go back to thin bezels.
Humans use things called hands to hold things, in both portrait AND in landscape modes.
And we STILL touch something by mistake, with slim bezeled phones.

There's a long way to go until it's serviceable as a selfie cam but I don't think it'll be more than a couple years before the first example pops up in a store near you. Remember, selfie cams are generally low quality cameras as it is. I wouldn't cry if they sacrificed selfie quality to increase screen real estate.

Underscreen camera is feature.. Like vivo did in underscreen finger... UDF is nothing but an optical sensor(like a camera which capture images with cnos) under the rectangular cuted amoled display, see the vivo nex teardown or apex in YouTube, the small part of amoled is transparent so sensor can capture the image of fingerprint, see mkbhd video of nex, you can clearly see the optical fingerprint reader under the screen, so basically by the end of the 2019, underscreen camera is possible but manufacture have to make a perfect flaw of design and its take sometime

I think full screen Virutally no bezel looks ugly, the phone suddenly has no character. i wouldnt want to go back to chucky sony bezels but a small bezel top and bottom give your handset character.
Future wise id like a phone that had a small bezel top and bottom but the phone didnt have a top or bottom you could use it either way around. with both ear pieces doubling as speakers. this would be really handy if you cracked your screen and it was causing trouble one way just use it the other.
