Rumors about Note battery has always been wrong in the past. I doubt it's going to be 4000ma. Probably less than S9+ again...

Just like the Galaxy S6/S7 or the Galaxy S8/S9, the updates are small to the Note 9 and I don't see why a Note 8 user should upgrade to this phone. It seems as though Samsung broke the 1 completely different flagship a year thing and spends the second year figuring out how to completely change their devices.

I use spen to quickly edit pictures or make some sketches, that's about it. I don't make full illustrations on note 8, because I find it too troublesome on small curved screen.
