if this phone is smaller than the rumored 6.4 screen (box indicates 6.3 like Note 8), then not worth to upgrade for me.

I do agree that Apple or Huawei might replace them for number one however. Samsung is probably completely banking on the S10 phones and the Galaxy X to get back some recognition
SohailSays, 23 Jul 2018No stereo speaker? Looks like a fake box.It is fake indeed.
Fintoyu, 23 Jul 2018Note 9 will be totally eclipsed in September by iPhone 9 and Huawei Mate 20, both with 7nm pro... moreAs a Note pretty much IS a large S with an S-pen, it would mainly be a name change. As for boredom, my phone is a tool. I still miss the no-BS utility of Symbian, and a charge lasted a week.
The retail box is definitely fake coz look at the font of '9' and samsung never puts that sticker on their phones' front
Anonymous, 23 Jul 2018Samsung saved a lot of money using surplus Note 8 chassiesHow can they reuse the note 8 chassis if the finferprint reader has been moved and the camera island is now smaller because of it, it is also a different size to note 8 by a few mm and the screen bezel is also slightly reduced, it wont cost them the earth to retool their equipment to cut new chassis, but they cant be reused for note 9
I thought the note 9 will start 128 gb rom this
Has 64 gb very disappointed I hope its fake
Note 9 will be totally eclipsed in September by iPhone 9 and Huawei Mate 20, both with 7nm processors. Samsung lost its interest and this Note 9 is the last Note ever. Since 2019, Samsung will ditch Note series. Instead will offer three dimensions for S series and the biggest S will have a pen and three cameras: normal, wide and zoom. The big problem is for Samsung that S10 will be available in march 2019. Until then, Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi will steal the show. In 2019 Samsung will go on the 2nd place for sure, after Huawei. Or even on the 3rd place. Samsung reminds me now of the last days of old Nokia with Symbian. Boring and obsolete. Samsung, you still make tons of dollars. You are not totally lost. But 2019 will be the year when you will die, if you do not make faster charge, bigger batteries.
Always go for the original.
Black. Black. BLACK.
Not until they can make the WHOLE phone Pink, blue, green or red. Just stick with Black.
Looks fine, but anything but the placement of a fingerprint scanner hasn't been changed. I'm starting to get bored with this design tbh.

The side bezels are too wide. We saw the same thing with the S9(+), where non-official renders based on leaked schematics had too wide side bezels due to the curved display not being factored in correctly, vs the actual official press renders from Samsung where the device looked a lot better with the right curve and slim bezels.
I think that the press render image above is legit but that video below???
IT'S A CHINESE CLONE !!!!!!!!!! Look at the box and text on that translucent sheet... that's not even the official SAMSUNG GALAXY FONT
Hmm mixed emotions. In a way I'm definitely and absolutely obviously looking forward to the Note 9. But on the other hand, I have a quite doubts about how great it will be, for so many reasons. Among them: I don't know how worth it will be an upgrade (4 D working class) from a Note8 (with just these incremental upgrades, as it seems), even more from an S9 (mostly D +), and moreover now with the innovations of the Oppo Find X & vivo NEX S/A. And considering the other upcoming flagships, etc. So finally I really don't know how a real success it will be?
