What's the point of a high pixel count if the pixel size is only .8 microns? (Can someone please explain?)
Deyan, 23 Jul 2018Sony problem always has been the software of its cameras not the sensor itself. Software has improve a lot starts from their XZ2 series, definitely flagship grade.
With their processing side sorted with the AUBE signal processor, Sony seems to be flexing its muscles in hardware department.

If this applied to their own XZ3, Sony really indeed step up their game! I'll wait for their new design language and definitely will come back using Sony!
Nokia had 1.15micron pixel size on 1/1.1" 41mp in 2012.
Too bad they cant improve it now.
