Anonymous, 23 Jul 2018but if they sourced OLED panels from both Samsung and LG, wouldn't there be differences in the... moreIt is there, but Samsung has less colour shifting. But yeah this sound silly. Apple only does this for profits. I will never buy a Apple. Stupid that so many people still buy Apples.

BOE panels are kinda garbage, compared to the major manufacturer. Your getting the "best" panel from a bottom tier company. Incoming bad example, but It's like buying the best Chinese made car, when everyone else drives Ferrari's, Lambo's. Yes the Chinese car will work...but it's no Ferrari or Lamborghini. Apple kills it in profits, why cut corners....Solidifies my stance on never buying apple.

but if they sourced OLED panels from both Samsung and LG, wouldn't there be differences in the final products? the LG V30 review mentioned noticeable color shifting when viewed at an angle while that behavior hasn't been observed on Samsung's phones
