mid range with a big screen? sounds weird
Good moved from htc really i like it :) but ram should be 1gb , anyways befor long time i wrote in nokia n8 forum 'we want nokia n8 with 4 inch display screen more ram and faster cpu' but now htc did it :)
AnonD-24618, 06 Oct 2011Now what kind of phone do you use? I use a Samsung Omnia HD. It can take great videos. :>I'm using the SGS2, very fast.. I love it. ;)
What's up with Htc releasing a phone with a 4.7 inches WVGA screen? For me, after 4.3 inches, qHD should be the minimum resolution
Wow...that's like suck on steroids.
50% good features, 50% complete last gen and lacking features. I'm confused what consumer audience this is targetting.

Let's say that 4.65-4.7 will be ok if the phone has only the screen on front and thin bezel on the sides, otherwise these sizes are TOO MUCH! Hear me HTC, Samsung ?
AnonD-24618, 06 Oct 2011I think that this phone can't fit in your pocket. This isn't good! :))I don't think any HTC phone will ever fit my pocket ;)
I have only once tried out the Desire HD and after using the SGS2 I didn't like the four button layout.
Also what use is there for the separate search button when you can long press the menu key?
How can they name the phone "Sensation XL" if all the specs are worse than the original save for the larger screen?
AnonD-5449, 06 Oct 2011Yep, me neither. 4.3" is the largest. Also 4.3" is too much for some people. And it'... moreI think that this phone can't fit in your pocket. This isn't good! :))

People want high performance phones with a reasonable size displays! Not long after the phones will not even fit your pockets. Clothes manufacturers have to widen the pockets lol.
Anthony1985, 06 Oct 2011Specs are terrible for such a large phone.
wonder what pricetag will be attached to this mons... moreHTC users say that the Sensation has lower performance than the S2 because of a higher resolution.
I wonder how much worse this is with only a single core and a HD resolution!

AnonD-24618, 06 Oct 2011I agree with you. I also think that 4.7 inch is TOO bih. 4.3 inch is enough, or maxim 4.5 inch.I think the 4.3" is a maximum... It is already hard to reach the top left corner when you're right handed!
Agh.. At least it seems that Nokia has some sense left. Unlike HTC. Rumors say that one of their WP7 phones will have a 3.7" display. Hope to see HD resolution from Nokia too.
AnonD-5449, 06 Oct 2011Lame. I don't understand what better is in there with a bigger display all the time! 4.3"... moreI agree with you. I also think that 4.7 inch is TOO bih. 4.3 inch is enough, or maxim 4.5 inch.
Lame. I don't understand what better is in there with a bigger display all the time!
4.3" would've been just enough, maybe more. This is too much.
Do you want to hold a board on your ear?
Also....
uFail. Just like Apple let their users down.
I hope Nokia doesn't do the same when they will have the Nokia World conference.
Common HTC. we are expecting something huge from you. Single Core? You can do better than this.
HTC...
This is a "huge Fail"
it should be called Fail XL
4.7 with a single core ?
wtf are you thinking
if you are thinking about battery saving just use damn amoled
or a large battery
Specs are terrible for such a large phone.
wonder what pricetag will be attached to this monster.
more RAM, expandable memory, better camera and dualcore would have been better than to release this thing.
wonder if this Sensation XL will have the same security issues GSMarena reported a few days ago
Its like HTC got half of it right, then the other half so so wrong.
