That last comparison of back cover case shows how much Xiomi is trying to justify for the increased price of MI A2 with cons of not having 3.5 jack and sd card support. They do fear that their Note 5 pro is still a better over all option in India.

To whom it may concern:
These are the suggestions below I can give right now.
Suggestion 1: Stick with / Buy Mi A1 as it already comes with BOTH a headphone jack and a microsd card slot (albeit a hybrid one) though the specs are slightly dated if you are willing to live with that.
Suggestion 2: Consider Zenfone Max Pro M1 for the same stock android experience with a HEADPHONE JACK & a MICRO-SD CARD SLOT & a HUGE 5000mAh battery if you don't play heavy games and can forgive the camera quality though it is better than many budget phones out there. And the PRICE is LOWER than Mi A2.

That IR-blaster helped me out several times when at friends and family.
If those idiots ay HMD would just implement that too in their phones I'd buy a nokia phone in a heartbeat. But now they're just run of the mil phones just like anyone elses.
