My friend works at google and said this is fake. This is custom rom, and not even the real device. The screen on the real phone will be larger.
Abhijeet, 07 Oct 2011If this is the real phone, geeks wud be disappointed agn like i4s. Samsung should make at leas... moreI'd agree with you there, mate. Build-wise, Samsung's Waves look like premium products compared to their Galaxies. And, if this image/video is anything to go by, then I have to say that this is going to be the second "dud" event in just a matter of a few days, where people have gone expecting a lot, but have left feeling disappointed.
Definitely it not the same phone like the first rumored picture. I believe is not the Nexus Prime but Focus S with Android inside.
If this is the real phone, geeks wud be disappointed agn like i4s. Samsung should make at least one galaxy model like wave. Metal or plastic whatever. But an android with wave body will impress almost all.
TOSHIBA, 07 Oct 2011The screen doesnt looks like it is a 4,65 inches.Maybe the guy holding it is the bigfoot!
It is a common deception method used by companies when presenting a huge phone. When presented, the phone is held by someone with big hands to "cover" the real size.

Judging from the margins around the screen, and taking under consideration that the screen will be 4,65", this phone must be REALLY huge. I hope this is not the real thing.
johnny devil, 07 Oct 2011That's a big contradiction! Beautiful screen has nothing to do with beautiful phone ? The phon... moreThe screen is almost 50 % of the phone, and the only part of the phone that you actually see when you use the phone, so the screen is definetly more important than having a "designed" curved backpanel made of glossy, fingerprintmagnet, plastic!
The phone is in my pocket most of the time, so I prefer a lightweight phone with a backpanel made from rubberized plastic than a bulky heavy metallic brick!
This link has the video and a bunch of screenshots:
Looks absolutely gorgeous!
nyap, 07 Oct 2011ugly same design
screen is too big
i think steve jobs was right...
smartphone....is phone... more3.5 inches is actually too small, I think 4 inches is perfect, but I love the 4.3 inches screen on my S2 because it makes typing long e-mails and editing documents very easy, and fast, when I use the Smart Keyboard Pro from Android Market, and watching streamed flash 11 HD movies on the 4.3 inches screen is far better than watching movies on a small 3.5 inches screen!
But I think 4.5 inches is the limit, any bigger and it does feel more like a small, too small, tablet, but not as a phone anymore!
I think these phones are so big because they still cannot make smaller screens with 720p resolution.
