They're capable of doing with 2GB's (on iPhone) what you cannot do with 4GB's (on Android). And I would even wager, that with 4GB RAM and their stringent conditions that it would *barely* surpass what you can expect to be able to do with 8GB RAM on an Android Device with its Wild-Wild-West Ecosystem.

AnonD-558092, 26 Jul 2018Nice. Very nice. 8GB is going to become standard on Droids. And slacking off on optimization topand it will stay there for extended time, to give time for the ram to be more faster, efficient, with lower latency, stopping the ram capacity war

And here I was under the impression they weren't going to innovate anymore. It's good to see they still got some tricks up their sleeves like an unbreakable display and this

Xris, 26 Jul 2018wow! say goodbye to your desktop processorsThats never going to happen. The requirement for power is never ending possibly until manufacturing processes get down to 1 to 2mm nodes.

Are absolute unnecessary resource hogs. And have been for years now. There is no need for almost any of these apps to be so huge in size while using so much ram and storage. It's ridiculous.
